I’m totally behind this, the good parts of Sailor Moon are way better then anything in Madoka as it actually has interesting, well developed characters and scenarios and doesn’t rely as much on shock value and sentimentality. If all you did was take out the parts of Sailor Moon that suck (and boy that is a lot) or replace them with stuff from another version of itself, that would already put it far above the trite drama in Madoka.

It’s a Japanese movie, what more do you expect? People complain about Hollywood, and yes Hollywood is bad, but Japanese made movies are way worse. Well, with the exception of some dramas.

- Haganai Movie: “They Aren’t Even Trying!”:
This problem stems from the fact that Muricans are so used to CGI elements being plastered everywhere that ordinary acting in a movie can no longer pass as acceptable. This film is being hated on for being an adaptation. Why would a LN like Haganai, which is mostly unknown to the rest of the world be funded with millions anyway?
