Honestly because the list for Tomoya is "split" into 5. that why it didn't get top votes.

The list only list those couples that has been establish from the star, while clannad the anime itself has 3 versions, with tomoyo after and Kyou after.
According to this full list, if people did indeed vote for other Clannad pairings, the number of votes would've been less than 22. So if we add 42 votes (21 x 2 for Tomoyo and Kyou pairings, the most number of votes they could get), to the total tally for Tomoya X Nagisa (assuming all the other pairings' fans vote for Tomoyo X Nagisa), they still don't crack the top 10.
Quite frankly, I think this list is total BS because it has such a small sample (4696) so we should take it with a grain of salt. It's very unscientific so, therefore, it should have no credibility. Leon is just trying to make us rage. Because, seriously, do you really think more people consider Inu X Boku SS pairings to be lovelier than a couple who struggled through 2 full seasons and, in the end, had a very satisfactory ending?
4700 samples on an online survey means nothing. And while Clannad is overrated, all of the shows on that list are even more overrated.. so I don't know what your point was there.

How is almost 4700 a small sample? Average professional survey you can find referenced in some newspaper has sample size of less than half of that. Anyway, Clannad is overrated, get over it.

I've noticed there're two types of SanCom's lists.
1. The negative blatant trolling type: Put everything that's popular in there and call it "Worst Ever", "Most Disappointing", etc, and then sit back and watch the fans rage.
2. The "recentism" polls: These lack any criteria whatsoever, and is extremely plagued with what I call "recentism". Take this poll for example: 6 out of 15 are from anime from only the last 2 seasons, heavily skewering the results in favour to more recent series, as 2ch otaku seem to have extremely short memory and they try to stuff as much as they could remember recently without taking a step back to determine whether those selected really deserve to be there.

I havent really seen a real romantic relationship in an anime aside from OMG, Bakemonogatari was kind of romantic for a couple of episodes, but they threw in another love interest. Ill have to check out the others, I just want a show with a simple relationship in it, no jealousy or a love triangle where one person in the couple likes someone else too

If anyone has read the latest chapters, you're in for a big surprise: the reason why Keiichi has been so indecisive regarding his relationship with Belldandy: the original wish was blocking his desire for Bell via The Ultimate Force.
Since that contract was voided by Keiichi through Belldandy's suggestion, a new contract was formed with a kiss. Now he sees Bell in a different light and all his feelings for her have been multiplied; his 'desire' for her has been 'unblocked'.
They really are so cute together though.
