  Faithful…. BAHAHAHAHAHA. Aside from the comedic indoor pool special which actually ended pretty terrifying the anime has absolutely nothing to do with the manga after the first couple episodes. The manga also never had shitload of filler crammed into it. If it was following the manga his cat would already be dead and they would have introduced the 4+ characters they are trying to save for a season 2.

  It was quite obvious for those who read the manga that there will be no end in the first season. Manga is ongoing and there is no definite arks so either they’ll hang whole series or make up some ending which is very unlikely.

  There is printed material with the Engrish translation so I guess someone just used that. Also, as an aside, “Attack of the Titans” might confuse it with “Clash of the Titans” and “Wrath of the Titans”. I’m sure they’d sue, but should be OK no one can trademark “Attack of the X” titles.
