It would be quite the more sensible for an entertainment company to expect of its employees to maintain a certain public image rather than to adhere to some restrictive rules in their private lives, if for enforceability’s sake only. Which is still a hassle, but doesn’t quite compare to the alternative. So it’s the image aspect where the mentioned trust part applies, most probably, and she in fact might or might not have been cautious enough from the point of view of the parent company. Still, whether they are going to be on her side with this may be a whole different matter.
