Pic 2 reminded me of a woman I saw whom I think was Jamaican; she had her hair done similarly, but with no coloring and no big piling-ups. It looked quite good.

A large number of these style look like they've been taken from African American culture.. I've notice a lot more African Americans in comics and anime out of japan. Ones that don't look goofy with extremely dark skin and huge red lips... Looks like japan may end up thinking for itself and to mimicking Europeans... awesome.
