I don’t think it’s that their particularly older than cosplays your used to seeing. It’s that there’s a lack of over exposure, color grading, or any of that other crap that hides most of the details the camera catches. Though they really could have taken the time to level balance the images to clear up the film grain and awkward lighting conditions.
