Why on earth would they do comparisons this early to begin with? The hardware has JUST been finalized and it’s now getting into the hands of developers or has been for the last year or so. It’s gonna take quite awhile before the developers get used to the new system and start learning how to take full advantage of it.

I mean seriously, how long did it take for PS3 developers to get the hang of it? Launch titles will of course be underwhelming even if they are already multiplatform. A year or two down the line and the Wii U will start showing what it’s truly capable of. How/Why? Because developers will have learned some nice tricks to gain the extra performance they need to amp up the graphics, etc.

So these comparisons really mean nothing. Ya I guarantee the Wii U won’t be better then the PS3/360 but I guarantee the graphics will improve as developers get used too it.

  The reporter is clearly confused: Wii U was never meant to match any of the hardware specs of those high-powered loser machines. Only a stronger version of Wii. And of course Wii is far weaker in graphics than said machines. But it still outsold them.
