Comment on South Korea “Banning Evolution” by aarond12:

Oh, Harold Camping? He admitted he was wrong and now declares it a “sin” to attempt to predict the date of the end times.

I wish we had more rational theists in this world like you.

Butthurt? Well, maybe because atheists receive death threats from “Christians” all the time. Just ask teenager Jessica Ahlquist. No, seriously. Look it up. Christian adults were (and still are!) sending this teenager death threats. Why should legitimate Christians feel so threatened? Someone says that god doesn’t exist? Suppose you tell me that Mazda cars suck. (I own a Mazda and love it.) Does that mean I should grossly overreact and threaten to kill you?

We also need to teach all the other theories out there too. Yes, even non-Christian creationism theories. Is that okay with you too? I didn’t think so.

Most Filipinos I know believe in evolution, which is interesting given than 85% of the Philippines considers themselves “Catholic”. My wife, a Filipino nurse, believes in evolution.

Atheist cause? What cause is that? To stop reading a book from the iron-ages and open your eyes to the realities of life? What a terrible thing, to learn the truth from everything around you rather than relying on a book written by a male-dominated society thousands of years ago.
