There is absolutely no standing to sue for moral damages due to cheating, even if it was bestiality with a horse. I can offer multiple reasons for this, but the main one is to avoid vexatious litigation on relationship breakdown.

It looks like it was with consent from both parties, so the lawsuit is so ridiculous it would be funny if it wasn't real. But since it is, it will most probably ruin the teacher's life. Not to say that she's totally innocent, but it also isn't exactly rape and murder. The guy comes over as a twat for spilling the beans, but I don't really know. For the teen girlfriend, kudos for taking action.

Honestly.. .the 'civil' court system should be abolished.

If a crime is committed, such statutory rape, press criminal charges. If there have been monetary losses the criminal courts are more than capable of adding repayment to the judgement..

On the other hand, in the event that criminal charges are not even pressed the so called victims clearly aren't after justice and don't deserve a thing..
