Most Yuri manga is marketed towards a female demographic. In fact, Comic Yuri Hime(one of the genres’ biggest publication in Japan) viewership consist 75% female. And Comic Yuri Hime is known to have graphic, sexual oneshots.

Though, since there are all kinds of yuri Anime/Manga/film/Light-visual novels in the market(shoujo, moe, seinen, jusei, erotic), it can be enjoyed by a diverse demographic, where else Yaoi exclusively caters to a women(even if the “bara” subgenre exist, men are a tiny minority in the said comics).
