It sucks even more when compared to that. Japanese animators in the early days of the industry were very enthusiastic about their work and it’s amazing what they did with the limited means and resources of that time.

Chinese animators (or workers in general) on the other hand are wage-slaves who do their job because they’re told to and because they will starve if they don’t. They simply don’t care for the products they make and that shows – not only in animation, but in almost ANYTHING coming from China. It’s all mass-produced junk with no heart and soul …
