True jail breaking a device you paid money for should be a right.
Only if the device is rented like a cable box or similar should they be able to say you can do something to it as then you do not own the device it still belongs to the company.

  Technically some people in the car bussiness do something like this it’s called customization. Famous examples include the Shelby cobra and Lingenfelter corvette. This is how it goes in the US if they are simply altered original merchandise then there is no legal claim the copyright holder can make but if they are counterfeits being sold as original then it’s considered bootleg.

  The truth is both products are crap but the no used game thing makes the Xbox one a little crappier. As for ram that remains to be seen the Xbox could actually be faster in practice if the video chip has it’s own dedicated ram despite the lower specs.   Despite the slowish CPU it would be more then fast enough to play PS1 and PS2 games very well. How you could make PS2 emulation run fast is break up all the parts into separate threads and each one gets it’s own core to run on. It might run much better then single and dual threaded emulators on PCs.
