  The wall street crash (if you want to call it that) wasn’t from capitalism. It was from government compulsion to lend to sub-prime borrowers. When you give money to people who can’t pay it back you loose that investment and create a bubble. If companies are cutting to many corners; it’s to keep up with the IRS’s stupid tax burdens and pay to conform to the pointless bureaucracies and federal regulations imposed by the U.S. government.
