  I totally agree. I wrote a term paper about the age of consent in my debate class. I too myself am a victim of this bullshit. Had a girl friend in high school who was 16, I was 17. Both of us in Junior year. Parents found out we had been sleeping together, next thing you know I am in court, I am getting a criminal record and shes getting away clean. I get charged for statutory rape because the age of consent in my country is 17. It is retarded.
