Maybe I’m missing something here but even if she was caught “red handed” the charges were dropped so she wasn’t really convicted of anything.
If that’s the case how does the school board have the right to fire her and revoke her teaching license?
Legally I think they overreacted and got burned. As far as the “excessive” award , if you consider the fact it supposedly costs around $2,000 just to get a drivers license in Japan then the award to reinstate teachers credentials doesn’t seem so outlandish.
