well, I also think it can be not a late-night anime. After all, from the list, it’s the safest for all people to watch. Unlike Clannad (which I also think OK if not a late night anime), which may be better watched by teenagers because of its family concept

    The show indeed doesn’t take itself too seriously but there is a story in here. Sure, it ain’t as serious as the 1st season but the new group of “Dark Samurai” aren’t all that bad/evil. More or less “honorable” foes who want a fair mano y mano against Jubei and her posse. Why? well, the suspense IS kind off dragging (and we’re at episode 7 already). And the “dandy” Keiji is also an equally awesome warrior……….to bad she’s a lesbian (as Gisen pointed out……she’s missing a lot!)
