The first thing that popped in my mind when I saw her wasn’t ‘old school’. It was ‘yandere’.
Of course, if you follow the story she turns out to be okay (mostly). But she emphatically does not look cute.

  Have to agree with Imyou here. I love the show and the manga, it’s a nice fantasy and very different from what we see most of the time. But it would NEVER work out IRL. No one can be that good a person.
