In my opinion people who think this looks weird should watch more 70s and 80s anime to build more tolerance to a wider range of art styles. Anime doesn’t just look awesome or crappy, but can look more or less interesting and appealing in tons of different ways.

  Why not? Contrary to popular belief the pictures don’t look like crappy filtered low-res instagram jpegs on the net. In fact it’s a medium format camera, so it captures a shitload of details. I have some 20 years old Polaroid pictures and they still have perfect contrast and colors. I had some digital prints made that looked worse on day one.
