  Manga I’ve read so far is full of flashbacks and inspiring speechs and rants. It’s like Lost. Buy time with character building flashbacks. I’m in like chapter 16 or so now. I can easily see this show going into the realm of stupid and nonsensical.

  I don’t know if I’m just desensitized, but the manga isn’t even that gory to me. This manga feels like a zombie apocalypse type genre but with giants… and I’ve seen way worse in zombie shows. And this manga goes for an action angle rather than horror… but man-eating retard giants and war is prettty horrifying.
