Comment on Revision, China Style by HouseLife:

There may not be scientific evidence for it as a concept, but there’s also not a lot of scientific evidence for many of the naturopathic treatments for cancer that I used and they work. So I’ve learned that just because there’s no evidence in a corrupt medical field doesn’t mean jack shit. In fact in our case, “…not approved by the Food and Drug Administration” these days is like a seal of approval.

In their case though, it’s much more of an issue of sanitation and… well… the reason they’re doing it. Amino acids aren’t some witchcraft, they do work when utilized properly, but there’s something to be said for the intention that diminishes their usefulness. Even if it is china’s backwards logic, even they wouldn’t subsidize it if it didn’t somehow prove itself to work in this context.

Healthier than energy drinks, that much is inarguable.

It’s only a waste of time and money if you waste your time and money. People who actually know how, but more importantly WHY they study know exactly how useful it can be. The world is full of failures because many people never take on a goal in their lives, so never apply the resources of college to that goal. They get drunk and try to ‘get it over with.’ Sadly a good chunk of the fault is with parents and schools who do not include it in their curriculum to teach children how to think and …

That’s kind of incorrect, Chen. I mean seriously, school studying does tend to stifle creativity, but in general it does offer some perspective on the world people wouldn’t usually get. They wouldn’t be ABLE to come up with new stuff if they didn’t understand the science behind it and get introduced to things they didn’t otherwise know existed, so while I do agree with your basic idea, I also disagree. But then again, this is the Chinese version of science and world history, so perspective may …

@ Anon 21:20 Should I go over the irony of an idiot attempting to use arguments from the person their calling an idiot as proof for their idiocy with no logical or scientific retort as to your argument for my being an idiot? Oh wait, I just did. You are a complete waste of space, time, and thought. And it’s ‘proven’ you moron.

@ Anon 20:21 I didn’t say spiritualist show, I said spiritualist. And I’ve already explained at length how it’s based on proven physics concepts. If you want to research the experiments on the electromagnetic effects humans have on the planet itself, look up Gregg Braden and do your own reading and research. None of you want to be correct, you all just want to be right. That right there is the difference between science and religion as it is, which makes all of your stupid retorts that much …

Again, you’re not listening to me. I never said Feng Shui is a proven science in and of itself, but its concepts are based on proven science. Christianity has that in many of its doctrines too… although in their case I wonder if it’s accidental much of the time :P Or stolen from other cultures like much of their doctrines.

  • Square Enix’s Fall “Because of Bad Feng Shui”:
@ Anon 3:33 I’m not sure what to tell you. You’re going off of nothing, while I’m going off of real science that has shown we affect the planet in a very real way merely by our perceptions. It is measured, and proven. So there’s really nothing I can say except you have a lot to do to prove it wrong. The concrete placement and the relationship in Feng Shui are related. Nobody ever said they weren’t, only you all seem to assume it’s not. Feng Shui isn’t just someone in a robe arbitrarily …

@ Anon 14:28 And that is the reason why it baffles me why so many are against the concept of energy flow having an affect on people. It has been proven by the scientific method that not only do we affect reality around us, but vice versa. By simple logic, that alone shows that it does play a role in an aspect of our lives. People not having the desire, interest, or ability to perceive it doesn’t remove its presence though. Many scientists have accepted the new energetic concepts that affect us …
