Queens Blade is pretty much soft hentai. If it wasn't a soft hentai, then the title of the news entry we were commenting on would not be what it is. QB pretty much covers every fetish for types of girls, and it doesn't really ever cross the line. I personally haven't watched much of it, but I'm also going to assume they embed some silly plot into it to hold things together. A majority of anime viewers don't need much plot, so long as it's there. By never crossing the line, it gets slots on actual television. So it's probably more popular than most actual hentai, and thus you have figures and merchandise that the creators profit from. It's pretty simple.

That's a pity, people should just mindlessly watch everything, right? FYI though, I doubt most people even cleanly fit into either category anyway. That's just a silly 2ch classification system.
