No mention of the new Lupin… I know the franchise is old, but does it really not have many fans that participate in these lists? Not that I give any weight to this list at all, but it’s strange to see such a long lasting franchise get beat out by a ton of mediocre at best, series.

I don’t really understand why this had to be a poll. I think the most simple answer is that people get attached to the anime version and any other version (even the manga from time to time) is hard to accept. Just seeing an actor in the flesh who isn’t able to mimic a character exactly is generally off putting to one who loved the artwork of a series. I know that this is my biggest issue. Thanks for clearing it up for me. I assumed it was going to be a lot like Shining Tears x Wind, and was a little confused by the calm and peaceful nature (although I did enjoy it). It reminded me a lot of Valkyrie Chronicles because like Rick, Alicia was also a baker before the war started and turned everything topsy-turvy. I definitely look forward to seeing the rest of this series.
