asian median income tends to be high because many recent asian immigrants are allowed in US because of their investment potential, educational goals or other financial activities. considering the types of immigrants here and the smaller group size, it is no surprise that the median income is much higher than other groups. white median income, on the other hand, includes the poorest to the richest white americans hence the reason why they don’t have the highest figure. i bet you the numbers will be much different if you look at the mean average instead of the median.

  That’s why I think Containment was a stupid idea. I understand the fear and paranoia back then but a policy that obligates a nation to go to war is an utterly stupid idea.
