I was just using that line as a pretext to write this and complain about the lack of discoverability mangas have.

I know, complaining on the internet about not finding Japanese mangas to read, easily enough. Really childish of me if I think of it.

True. You cannot judge a book its cover, or anime and manga by umm..... p/reviews.
I would even say you can't even judge a series until you have seen it to the end.

BUT that was not THE POINT.
It was that all this makes discovering new series a lot easier. It improves discoverability.

I usually look on the chart to decide what would interest me and then check season reviews to see if there is something I would have liked but missed.
According to this seasons chart there are at least 52 shows, not counting OVAs and movies, I can't check all of them out. Plus there are still series from last season. I ended up deciding to check out a list of about 32 of them not counting OVAs and movies. Plus, this season is special as it has an extra I will watch, Legend of Korra.
At this moment I have not yet finished checking out said list.
