Prostitutes harm nobody (if they’re healthy that is), swindlers very much do. It’s ridiculous to arrest prostitutes. Sure, some countries may have nonsensical statutes in their anti-prostitution laws that also criminalize the prostitutes themselves, but you lot of all people should now that something being law doesn’t make it right.

Also, laws against child prostitution are meant to PROTECT minors. Leaving aside the question whether girls enjou kousai’ing themselves even need to be ‘protected’ from doing so in the first place, how is arresting, maybe even throwing them in jail protecting them? This is Amerikkkan logic right there. If your going to make a law based on a good intention, no matter how misguided it may be, at least apply it in a way that makes sense (like Japan is actually doing in this instance).
