I hadn’t considered the similarity until you worded it like that, but Nami is a lot like Fujiko it seems. I don’t know if Nami followed Fujiko’s development similarly. I don’t exactly know the dynamic with Lupin because I never watched the original, but it strikes me that there are some similarities to One Piece, so I wonder if there was some inspiration.
