Yeah. Casting is the least of the problem for that stupid movie. It was just horrible. I’m sure if there were directors who were fans of the series and understood it well, it would’ve been at least a decent, if not good, movie.

Male Jap actors are hamstrung by their effeminate, ineffectual & bland nature. Female Jap actors are limited by their ice-cold & sexless nature. Japan will always be a land that produces the movie-watching EQUIPMENT. Never the movie itself.
