It’s a very ’60s aesthetic, where you have the nudes but they aren’t meant to be sleazy or fanservicey. It’s just matter-of-fact, so to speak.

I kind of like this one. It’s dark and gritty without being overbearingly depressing (as of yet), and you’re given hints about the characters’ inner pathologies. Yes it’s got a lot of ero fanservice, but I think it’s done in a good way. Personally I don’t find it at all that explicit, certainly not above the level of 60′s spy films and James bond movies this series pays homage to, which had their shares of boob slips and bikini babes.
