Eating live octopus is stupid. Because it’s harder to eat that way. Only novelty what you get from it is the cruel eating a still living thing. That octo flailing it’s tentacles looked cute thought, but still getting those tentacles to stuck your throat or mouth isn’t very pleasant. The cook should kill the octopussy and then put it in the plate. It would still be fresh.
