Indeed Medaka starts like a sexy Haruhi Suzumiya (not that THAT isn’t sexy) immediately turns into a panty fighter like ikkitousen, and then starts getting werider and weirder.

Just wait until you meet the “minus”, their entire modus operandi is insane yet oddly consistent so much that the way to defeat them largely consists on finding a way to let them win in a way they dislike. And I’m not even going to comment on the “not equals”.

The critical point is, however. That as much as MedakaBox is the typical Shounen Fighter, it is also a parody of the genre. Actually it’s a metaparody of the genre.

  I think you are exaggerating a bit with the dichotomy between 13 or 30, the common age of consent is 18 and that’s very much fresh. There are some places where it is 17 and even 16, not common but there are, just move there. Personally I think many 13yo girls can be evil manipulative bitches and many 30yo ones can be more honest and innocent. YMMV. I don’t think consent laws are what is keeping you single.

  Indeed I dunno how i did but i actually learned the lyrics to Zankokuna, I think the lyrics are simply that fitting. Or maybe is the hundreds of times I’ve listened it. I’m disappointed that there are no Touhou covers in the list.
