He was on the Swedish equivalent of parole. As such he was allowed out of prison early on the condition that he didn’t screw up and find himself back in court again, but since he went ahead and did that his parole is revoked and he now has to serve the remainder of his original sentence.

He was given a chance to reenter society on the condition that he could do so without committing another felony, and he blew it all over a 12-year old’s panties. Any good faith the system may have had in him was clearly misappropriated.
