Reading the original/manga you realize that they’re batshit fucking insane, twisted, and far more EVIL then the anime will ever show you…

In fact the anime just makes them seem obsessive and religious.. Not to mention making the reason for the ceasefire basically turn into:

“They abducted some kids! Stop everything and take care of Caster!!”

Which is just…..sad……..
