Top 25 Anime of 2000-2012:

Don’t get me wrong, I liked most of these, but I really don’t see most of these hitting a “Best of” anything. I enjoyed Angel Beats and Infinite Stratos, but the sad fact is they share something unforgivable. The first 2-3 episodes were good, then everything up to the last 1-2 episodes was complete garbage. Not that these were the only examples, but I feel they were the paramount display of this. Good start. Fantastic end. Creamy filling of waste.
Top 50 Most Overrated Anime:

This is definitely a popularity list, but a couple of them, I could see where “overrated” could be applied, not that any of the series have any serious faults. Some do get treated a little too highly by word of mouth though. The one thing I did enjoy thoroughly is that, normally a standard couple of slightly “older” popular staples (Toradora!/Code Geass/etc.) get dragged up in these “worst” lists. They appear to be no-shows here, and this pleases me. Still gonna add those I haven’t seen on here …

Definitely with you, but occasionally I do want to feel like a badass. I hate to sound sexist, but it’s hard to get that feeling out of a game if I’m playing as a chick. I normally load my day with cutesy stuff, but once in a while I need some Battlefield or Asura’s Wrath to balance it some way. Despite all this, pirate chick ALWAYS beats pirate dude.
