I am in Sapporo right now, and you only get the goods at sapporo factory. I literally went to every family mart here and even only one of them was decorated.
They had a bunch of hachune onigiri but that's all, no plushies etc. you gotta get them somewhere else.

Marketing assholes have literally dated the merchandise ("Snow Miku 2012") so that in following years, you'll have to buy different ones ("Snow Miku 2013", "Snow Miku 2014"...), or else be scorned as "out of date". The only thing "different" between the models is the year number.
