Papa no Iu Koto is busily providing the obligatory bathing service expected of harem anime, leaving only the beach episode and the onsen episode for fans to look forward to…
This is a really good show IMO. Lots of drama, a lot of emotions. Yes, there’s some ecchi fanservice, but it’s just enough to draw in the people who demand it. Otherwise it’s a reasonably clean show, at least in comparison to what I’ve seen of the manga.
For anyone expecting at least a komodo no Jikan fan service is going to be disappointed …
I think the anime will be 80% drama …
Probably more a trapping ecchi anime for girls…
At least the young girls are cute …(ops …FBI … … arrested by pedobear style)
I know jack about the novels so my comment is sorely based on just the three episodes out thus far:
It’s a nice heartwarming show, real enjoyab le and it seems more like a drama to me so far than the “comedy” it was supposedly advertised as (or based on the comments i’m hearing here and other places anyway)
Yeah the first episode had the cheesy “oops i opened the bathroom door and saw you 88.72% naked scenario complete with “Kyyaaaaaa!!!” scream thrown in for good measure, so sue them, they added such a cliche’ scene that anyone can find another show and go “oh it’s one of those shitty shows”
If one episode is all it takes to turn you off from what seems to be a great show about the importance of family then by all means go watch something else. Hell i know a LOT of people that stopped watching Hanasaku Iroha after episode 3’s bondage training and forced wet clothing scene (yeah, BOTH of those in one episode) and I know it made people drop the show in droves.
Hell, those people missed out on a genuine slice-of-life show the likes of which I have yet to enjoy since effin’ Fruits basket, another great show and manga. So glad it’s getting a second season. First one was great and the second is sure to please.
A shame if you want to drop it just because of a loli here and a fanservice scene there, which are actually done in good taste from episode 2 onwards if you ignore the shit that was the first one. Hell it reminded me of Hanasaku Iroha all over again, but stick with it and ye shall be rewarded, I know I was back then and I have high hopes I will be again 😀
Good enough to hear the immortal cornholieo Beavis say “boooinnggiginngingg” and hear Butthead say “he said Boooinnngggggggnnnggg”. “heheh heheh heeeeehehee hehehe”.
And you made that judgment from a couple of select screenshots? I would probably regret asking, but just what kind of thought process did you have to come to this conclusion?
There is a story.
The 3 sisters (seen above) are being taken care of by their 21 year old uncle (their mother’s brother) after the girl’s parents go missing after their plane disappears.
I think the story was pretty awesome for a so called comedy. I intentionally didn’t read anything that would spoil it so the plane vanishing thing was a shock.
I keep waiting for one of the girls to flip out each time Hina says something about their parents. I really felt bad when she thought they were going to the airport to pick them up.

I empathize too easily with the characters’ sad story. Can’t do what I originally intended to do while watching this one.

I like lolis and all but I think Ill pass on this anime.
this show is kind of depressing sometimes actually.

Sankaku Is having to much fun with the BS Censoring, and taking low blow with making picture look like something they are not.
Ahhh, so much cute and cuddly!
Loli!

He’s taking her home with him?
Who wouldn’t!?
Me? I’ll take eight!
When did she punch her? Is it taken out of context?
You Can’t Deny The Loli!!!

Article thumbnail has to be the most accomplished use of faux-censoring yet this year.

Where are you, Ishihara? Where are you haters? Has any affection of trash? No. This kind of anime is the pure advertisement of pedophilia.
How about you watch the show and then comment, it is nothing like what you think it is.
Welcome to Sancom…
YOU….. are an idiot. Did you even watch the show?
These sure are some cute lolis, but this anime looks like pure fanservice, not a medium to tell a story.
And you made that judgment from a couple of select screenshots? I would probably regret asking, but just what kind of thought process did you have to come to this conclusion?
Really dude? The fanservice is so minimal.
There is actually story in this anime, tons of tension, there is fanservice but it’s only a few shots.

It’s actually quite good of a story.
That is not a story, that is a setting. XD
True. Though the characters are sort of too shiny, imo.
The fact that Hina is waiting for her parents to come back is very touching. /manlytear.jpg

looks like more out the same to me.
Another (generic?) loli fanservice anime, every season needs one I guess.
Nope, the series isn’t generic and has little fanservice. The light Novel is also pretty good.
>Implying loli is a bad thing
>Implying that he forgot about Ishihara’s anal loli-bashing.
