Scryed… I liked it a lot, but it always seemed strange that it was really as popular as it was.

    Scryed was… barebones, essentially. Kind of a low animation budget, pretty linear storyline, and mostly straight-forward characters. Sometimes things just aren’t very complicated, though. Given that most of the characters were super-powered teenagers they would have been out of place in some kind of magnum opus.

    I dunno, FMA: Brotherhood was one of the best series I’ve ever seen, but it’s not the kind of thing I could watch over and over bordering on continuous looping like I can some other shows. It’s undoubtedly “better” from a story-telling standpoint than a lot of the stuff I would watch repeatedly, but might be why I couldn’t watch it as often; once you get too familiar with an epic tale it might start to get disappointing that what was once a great series of plot twists no longer carries the same …
