I kind of understand what you’re talking about but if SOPA/PIPA/OPEN take effect it will be a long time before they’re taken down if at all.

To be fair, the site was not built on the ideals that piracy should be allowed rampant. This is very different from the pirate bay. They actually made attempts to try and strop this. Though honestly, the only reason they “admitted” it was such was so they would not get banned by some SOPA act for being a renagade site or terrorist site in the near future

The issue is that they aren’t going after the ones that caused it. THe ones taken down this time was megaupload and its bosses. In cases your lack of intellect has not caught on to it yet, they aren’t the ones who are uploading all the pirated material. Rather, megaupload has made many attempts to remove illegal content from their site and everytime they do, people find a loophole around it.
