  i don’t see the problem here. there are enough animes with traditional art styles out there. it is important to try new things. and to me the characters don’t look particularly ugly, it’s just another stile. i consider it an interesting experiment. without things like that, which you might consider failures, improvements would be prevented.

  @anon 20:57: not a single comment in this thread suggests that sao is a masterpiece. all i can read is “sao is not shit”, which is true – solely by the fact that many ppl watch this to the final ep makes it a worthwhile, decent anime for todays standards.

  ram is cheap yes, but 4gb is more expensive than 2gb and 2 are actually more than enough for a gaming console. the only thing more ram would do is to lure devs into sloppy coding, and that’s it. same goes for pc. if the majority of applications and games wouldn’t have crappy coding, any system would run fine with 2 to 4gb – there’s absolutely no reason for 8gb, 16gb or even 32gb specs.
