  The show indeed doesn’t take itself too seriously but there is a story in here. Sure, it ain’t as serious as the 1st season but the new group of “Dark Samurai” aren’t all that bad/evil. More or less “honorable” foes who want a fair mano y mano against Jubei and her posse. Why? well, the suspense IS kind off dragging (and we’re at episode 7 already).
