having played about 20 hours of the game so far, it’s actually not as offensive as it could have been. there are some parts where it is a little bit, but in the end it actually tells some emotional stories…unlike most of those “inoffensive” japanese visual novels.

    I used to wonder why Japan joined the Nazis in WW2. Then I was educated about the racism and xenophobia. Some of the biggest human rights violations in WW2 were committed by the Japanese. The difference here is from what I have heard, most of the Germans, Italians too I guess but nobody really talks about the Italians, learned their lesson. They also teach that lesson to new generations. The Japanese? Not so much….

    Well… there is also the ‘Disable Adult Content’ if you’d like to self-censor the game. All in all, I can understand that some people might be estranged by this game’s theme, but let me add my two cents: I played the game and although the concept was a bit foreign, one could quickly grasp the message that people with disabilities are people who over- come their individual challenges and live their lives, which of course also includes love and its consummation.
