Oooh, so the manga actually showed some of the stuff that was from the lightnovels, good. I thought the anime was shitty exactly because it didn't have any guro at all.
All guro and cuts going to BDs from the start, and they said so in advance. Moralfags would be scream bloody hell otherwise, not to mention TV-channels censors.
Seeing as how it was all censored by black "mist" I think we may still see some once the BDs are out.
I read the Blu-ray box set will be uncensored so you guys might want to pre-order while you have the chance!

Regardless, I still deem the Elfen Lied manga to be worse (or better) High Octane Nightmare Fuel, for horror and not just mere gore inhabits it, which, in my honest opinion, also makes it ‘darker’ than Uziga Waita’s famous guro doujins.

I'm not a huge Fate fan - I've only seen the FSN anime. So maybe there's some connection in the games(?) but when I see Zero I just think "how is that even sort of related to Fate?"
Then, I can't even find a link between Fate/Zero and Nasu, so... that could explain it.
It's a prequel. It's what happens 10 years before Fate.
I don't mean plotline connection - that's all canon it seems. I just mean the whole style seems different from the first series to me. It's very clear they have different people working on it now.
