Commom, until amost the end the anime wasn't bad, and then everything turned out to be magic and that was really horrible. The ending is just awful, and it has BL/Shonen- ai tones.

Totally a women!! (Or Gay Male) made this up - Notice how there's NO Mention of: "Gosick", "Mayo Chiki", "Kore Zombie Desuka?", "Hiden No Aria" or "Dream Killer Merry"?? Practically No Moe or Harems? "Gosick" was far better received than half this crap.

Notice how so many "sensitive male" shows are prominently displayed. Utter garbage - Japan is way more perverted that this list implies.

Hidan no Aria, good? What the fuck are you on mate? Gosick I believe deserves a notice, but eh... It really got boring towards the end (besides, the manga executed the story better imo).

I still can't figure out what I watched this year, that was made this year that was totally worth a head's up...

Just what we need to end the year: another lame and stupid list. Obviously, this one is made by some rabid fujoshis.

Madoka Magica deserves to be #1!

    Comment by Anonymous
    17:26 11/12/2011 # ! Good (+0.8)

Madoka was decent in that it did something different, and had an awesome soundtrack, but I couldn't see why girls dying and crying made it anime of the year. Way overrated.

    Comment by Anonymous
    14:21 11/12/2011 # ! Good (+0.5)

fuck that... Madoka deserves NOT to be number 1. A magical girl series, done in a dark, twisted, and fantastic way, I agree. But was it the golden child of the century, FUCK NO. Even Blazblue Continuum Shift did a better job explaining time paradox. Let alone, Steins;Gate was present this year to be probably one of the better time paradox anime of all time (I still didn't like that one. Or I guess I should be saying, after watching that, I can't take Setsuna (Gundam 00) serious anymore)

So yea, continue on with the Madoka hypedom. Although I love the VAs in that show, and I like the concept of that show, it does not deserve the tremendous hype everyone has been giving it.

Overrated? Perhaps, I don't have access to know what that standard is enough to make the call.
Great series? Yes, definitely deserving of most of the praise it received. Also, there was no plot breaking time paradox in the anime.

No.6 is a sort of Shounen Ai story. So mostly every fujoshi should have voted for No.6. For the same reason is "Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi" in the Top 20.

There are maybe fewer fujoshis then there are otakus. But the few fujoshis vote for even fewer series which gives them more votes per serial. For the same reason the sells of fujoshi anime ain't that bad.

Plus: beeing a fujoshi isn't seen as creepy as beeing an otaku therefore the fujoshi-number grows faster. At last it is like this in europ.

Then again, Anime is death so who cares anyway? Moeblob, Fujoshi or Mainstream. One of those is to blame.

Fujoshi truely creepy then otaku. At least otaku go for boy-girl relation. But fujoshi go for boy-boy relation.

No.6 is miles away from Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi.
If it was really fujoshi made then Sekai is higher. Imo it seems like guys actualy No6 like too.

Fujoshi isn't seen as creepy as otaku?

LMFAO WOW. that's the stupidest things i have ever heard, Otaku = Anime nerd, Fujoshi = rotten girl, compare the nicknames?

Also, Otaku go for normal shit, Fujoshi go for gay shit, how can you say Fujoshi can be seen as creepy as Otaku? OTAKU ISN'T EVEN CREEPY WHEN COMPARED TO FUJOSHI, GET OVER IT.

You underestimate the power of fujoshi, you underestimate them greatly...

No. 6 was amazing. Unlike most anime he drama was realistic and brutal. Besides with Bones quality animation and a well written story you cant get much better.

And I garrentee that anyone who calls it a romance anime didnt watch the ending

The last episode was probably the weakest thing about NO.6. It was super rushed. The show had a pretty interesting premise, but got stale as it progressed. I wouldnt say its bad, but it's nothing special. Not a show that I would try recommending to somebody . Definitely not deserving of the top spot to say the least.

No.6 was rock solid to start with then just stopped making sense towards the end with the goddess bullshit and kinda fell flat on its face at the end.

Well I liked No.6 a lot. But I read the novel too so the ending was really disappointing for me.
But I'm happy they didn't eliminate the shounen ai, like the creators of the Togainu no Chi anime did. Seriously the game was full of rape and horrible shit, with a plot that made sense. And then the anime makers really fucked the plot up good. It was like Umineko all over again.

    10:27 11/12/2011 # ! Neutral (0)

    ...wait what?

the drama was brutal? didn't watch the ending?

No, whatever. Truth be told, it only started picking up speed around the 7th episode, I barely suffered through the first five. I wouldn't say it was a bad anime, but amazing? Maybe amazing finale, but only this. Also, she could have ressed the girl too, gay couples are boring, threesomes ftw.

    - Intresting outlook of heroes (commercial heroes)
    - Good CG animations
    - Awesome MC. Kaburagi Kotetsu (Tiger) is a true hero (in many kinds of senses)
