Lolicon and Ro-Kyu-Bu! fans (if the two groups are indeed distinct) have been excited to note the arrival of a series of rather flagrant “LoliTube” onaholes based on characters bearing an uncanny resemblance to those of the greatest and only loli basketball anime to date.
The product’s rather clever naming deserves some explanation – in Japanese, Ro-Kyu-Bu! is written as “ロウきゅーぶ！”, whereas the “Rori-chu-bu!” is rendered as “ロリちゅーぶ!”, only two characters off.
The onahole actually managed to get itself deleted from Amazon’s listings (quite a feat considering what Amazon.co.jp routinely stocks – those viewing Sankaku Complex from Japan may have the pleasure of seeing some quite eye-opening advertising from them), so availability is presumably restricted to the usual grubby Akihabara doujin hawkers.
Whether this removal was down to the loli content (which Amazon.co.jp overflows with), the closeness to Ro-Kyu-Bu!, or the cheeky use of the YouTube-esque “LoliTube” logo is an interesting question.
