They were just too lazy (or they wanted to save budget / time), as if they wanted to place the tiles in a straight line, they would need to cut the normal tiles accordingly.

I don't want to say 'I told you so', but the modern world is going to hell because it truly revolves around money and people competing with eachother for the mere right to even live and survive.

People think these pictures are bad and all, but if you break a certain poverty line in Japan, you may as well stop living as far as the society is concerned. You're not only below trash, but a liability and a 'danger' according to some people. This world absolutely needs more compassion. It always did and sadly, it always will.
