Comment on Aya Hirano Reborn – On Rolling Stone’s Cover by Anonymous:

It’s obvious Aya is a very insecure woman just as much as batshit crazy fans, the only reason people are now defending her is because they’re so sick of japans representation of idols that there using aya as a catalyst to rebel against that very image, which is all fine and dandy, but lets not forget how much of a insecure woman she was even BEFORE her scandal. The fact she used those two incidents to incite pity towards herself tells me all I need to know about her character. Anyone who has to use a brain tumor or accuse a taxi driver of kidnapping her when it was nothing more of a overreaction to create sympathy is a fucking scumbag. Dont use the ” you don’t know what’s it’s like to be a celebrity” excuse, there are plenty of celebs out there who have haters. Even Justin bieber has a shit load of haters – while he completely deserves to be hater on since he IS the exact representation of todays music industry, that you dont need actual talent to be a musician just a pop star image – even HE handles criticism in a respectable manner. Aya, however does not she instead crumbles under pressure and tries to use medical conditions as a joke to gain pity; a sympathy device. I cant overlook that. Maybe you guys love her characters so much that you can, but I can’t.
