  “The irony is that they are celebrating the survival of a criminal, where just weeks before they seemed to take the moral high-ground over criminals…” I wonder what made you think that crimes such as not wearing seatbelt and having no plate number while driving made someone deserving to die.. I’m not from china, and as long as nobody died from that accident, I doubt that he will be punished with death penalty. ..someone should educate you about how valuable life is.

  Volvo may now be Chinese owned, but they are still being developed in Sweden. Most of their cars sold around the world are still made in their European plants just like before. Like most foreign carmakers, models sold in China are either assembled or manufactured locally. Quality is usually good because these are “real” and NOT knock-offs.
