The reason they all use cell-phone cameras is the same reason why they blatantly lie about their boobs size.

If you use a real camera all the bad sides, stretch marks, cellulite etc. are so much more obvious.
Cell-phone cameras cover up all the bad spots. Sure the quality is crappy, but it adds to the 'fantasy'...

Aren't Japanese cameraphones supposed to be capable of 14 megapixels? I guess those flip designs mean that the sensors are basically small and shit. I wonder how the hell these goddesses can't get access to good cameras though, given Japan's electronics affluence in general.
