The long-awaited anime adaptation of Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai (“I have few friends”) has been extremely well received, marking it out as the season’s favourite in only the first episode.

Seems to have a big following over there, it's only natural the anime would enjoy success. Just don't troll it away with the "let's fuck up the adaptation" formula and everyone will be happy. Avoid QUALITY, stay true to the original, make it an above average production, and suddenly your car insurance rates spike because you can't drive down the street without people hurling clouds of money at you.

God, I played through the VN, it was alright, but absolutely not worth the insane hype/fandom it got.
It was also beyond strange to hear seyuu's like Honna Youko (Sumeragi-gundam00, Nagisa-pretty cure, etc.) doing hentai scenes at the end of routes for sure..
They where SOOOOOO unatural, and just freaking so bad they had you laughing out loud.
No surprises there :)
But it still too early to tell if it's gonna be any good (might just turn out to be another moeblob, but it's only Ep1)
And heil that art style, cuz it's just gorgeous 8D
It's from the people who made OreImo, so I think the quality will turn out well and pretty close to the original.
I've been looking forward to this for a long time after reading the manga and some of the light novels. It's good to see it finally here. It's got some really brutal parodies and satire of otaku cultures, it's one of those that changes the way you look at some media.

I like this anime too. Anytime the male character isn't a complete puss the show is automatically good. But of course it is a favorite this season: there isn't much to be said about the competition.
Hmm does my eyes deceive me as they have used Monster Hunter in there??? I may have to dive deeper in this series as it has piqued my curiousity. We shall see how it goes. So far, in my opinion, it's good.

Also agreed, given the personality-related reasons she originally wore such an abnormal swimsuit (that excessive specific shyness regarding certain matters (in contrast with her absolute lack of shyness regarding certain other concepts) being possibly her most intriguing aspect).

That usually only applies to non-yuri majorly female casted (with very few or non-existent male characters) shows. For a harem show, it oddly enough works the other way around; the otakus most likely will enraged if their fave gets to be the one dumped by the main hero.

The Denpa Onna art style is what makes me love this twice as much, light novel-wise as well.

the art and even the character-design of the logo looks the same.
