You obviously haven’t truly watched it then. Got it.

@Satonaka I don’t have much of a Gundam background, which may or may not be a good thing in terms of comparison. I only saw Wing all the way through long ago, and that set me back a couple years because the one who ordered me to watch it was a fangirl who then insisted that every male character I ever found cool was gay for another male character in their series. That may be why I actually am apprehensive to watch any Gundam series now. It took two years for me to re-rationalize that …

Actually, you’re right. I was in fact rather annoyed at this list until your last statement. Somehow that gratefully lifted this list back into ludicrous levels, so I’m no longer annoyed. Thanks a bunch.

Are you seriously encompassing the entirety of that anime in that juvinile, completely ludicrous and utterly useless description? Is that how you judge the entirety of a series? You look at it, define it as some childish bastardization of its base premise, and then judge on that alone? Do you think that somehow makes you special or intelligent? Well, I can see why, I mean the same can be done for you as a human being just as easily: You were born, you’re a moron, you’re going to die a moron. I …

All very true. Ergo Proxy is actually similar in feel to Eureka, just on an opposing spectrum. Can’t really describe it better than that. I will admit that Eureka 7 has maintained the spot as my all-time favorite anime and therefore surpasses any of those in my mind as deserving a place, but that’s personal preference. It managed to do many, many things that are usually considered cliche in ways that I haven’t seen before or since, and that is unbelievably hard to pull off when they intertwine. …

Where the FUCK is my Eureka 7! I do NOT usually get angry about lists like this, but how the tumbling fuck did s-CRY-ed make this while Eureka 7 did not. There IS no good reason.

That too is wrong. Fate/Stay Night told a superb story as a visual novel. Trying to pretend that just because they have images of the characters it can’t be a deeper plot has been proven repeatedly to be incorrect. If you are saying you intentionally want bland, then that’s why they get away with it. I like cute girls, but it’s so empty and pointless. Have they actually done anything in all these games that makes a contiguous world where the games have anything to do with each other and grown …

Here’s my problem. People allowing forgiveness for something that has nothing to do with studio size and thinking that being a small studio is forgivable for pointless storyline and laziness. Moe can exist alongside creativity and amusement. Don’t foolishly think it’s either Indy or Witcher 3, that’s not reality. You can make it better than that and it really takes not much effort for even a partially decent professional writer. I could have even woken up from a 2 hour night sleep and written …

  • Final Fantasy XV Pre-Order DLC Previewed:
Not yet. Still the best companies recognize the base game must be solid, and the DLC is just peripheral. Tales games are all outfits. Mass Effect’s DLC for example is something I more than was happy to purchase for $14.99, I never thought I’d say that, but its Citadel DLC was not a core part of the main game in any form, it was entirely a filler arc, but was the funniest shit I’ve ever seen, using every running gag formed in the entire trilogy brilliantly. That shit deserves my money any day.

So legitimate question. Are these really at all decent? And I don’t mean cute girls or anything like that, I played the first one and platinumed it just because I do that. But it was essentially a chore by the end rather than an accomplishment. Compile Hearts games have by and large seemed barren of creativity or purpose. I can understand treating them as sort of visual novel with gameplay possibly for enjoyment, but have they sincerely and objectively become games with at least decent plots …

  • Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization Massacred by Censors:
People who blurt the term SJW for everything are starting to piss me off as much as the people who fit the stereotype that term has been overused to represent. Let me spell it out, nothing has changed in the past 10 years in this regard. They censored it because of the rating it could have due to bare breasts being suggestively put in place for a teen based game. Whether you agree or not, blaming a useless acronym is just laziness and stupidity, the same level of laziness and stupidity that the …
