That’s a load of BS.
It’s like saying black people need reparations for the centuries of slavery they were forced to endure under the oppressions of the Americans. (And other nations around the world including other African nations)
Or the British and Americans for firebombing German cities in WWII simply because they were flammable. (Justified under “Destroying support for war, or more simply, dropping bombs on people’s homes so they want peace”
OR reparations for the lives destroyed, homes lost, treaties broken by the Americans to the Native Americans.
Or Chinese reparations to the families of those murdered during the cultural revolution. (Anyone with a high school education or higher was considered an intellectual and killed)
The confederates for the land and property destroyed during the American Civil War. The Union use the tactic of raiding deep into confederate territories and destroying all land and property they could find.
I could go on. But, the point is. I don’t see the international communities reminding these nations of their past misdeeds.

Japan and Korea fight like brother/sister rivalry. Or Cousin Rivalry. Wouldn’t be surprise if they were actually descents of one another long time ago but they are too prideful.
